These people are named Ka’ren
A hurting race in Burma.
They crave to know this Jesus
Whom we worship every Sunday.
While their husbands & fathes are
Taken, Beaten and killed at any time
during the day.
Why does this government hate them?
What gave them the right to kill?
My heart went out to them, as I
Saw pictures of children, women, orphans,
Widows, mothers and families…
The wounds they had, the homes
They had lost, the pain they felt.
I wondered how these people
Make it through each day.
Where does their strength come from,
When pain is experienced each day.
I cringed in my seat, closing my eyes,
So I coudlnt’ seet he lost race before
Me. Tears ran down my face. Why did
they have to suffer so much?
My heart began to ache, and I felt
Broken as I left church that day.
I thought to myself…What can
We do for Ka’Ren?
